we have made it to 

- SUID AFRIKA -

the plane ride was long...

• 1st ride was slc to nyc (a 4.5 hour ride) where we were meant to stay awake but someone (shaun davies) fell asleep while i read a book trying not to nod off every five minutes. 
• 2nd ride was nyc to johannesburg (a 15.5 hour ride) where we had trouble sleeping due to the uncomfortableness and a lovely 5 year old who just had to scream the entire time. however, we got our own personal tv's with a good variety of movies and each slept about 6 hours.
• 3rd ride was johannesburg to durban (a 1 hour ride) where we both passed out for the whole ride and woke up even more exhausted than before.

but we made it!
